The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County will consider and is scheduled to vote on formal approval of the 2019-2020 school year calendar at its next meeting on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. The meeting will be held in the Board Room at the Parham Building, located at 2644 Riva Road in Annapolis.
There has been a date change for the Fundraiser pick up. It is now Wednesday, November 14 from 3:00-6:00pm.

American Education Week is November 12 – November 16, 2018. The National Education Association’s American Education Week was created to highlight the importance of parental involvement in their student’s education. During this week, parents are invited to visit their student’s classrooms to experience a typical school day.
To ensure the highest levels of success in school, it is necessary for parents to take an active role in their student’s education. In addition to visiting your student’s classes, other ways to be involved with your student include checking homework every night, developing a relationship with your student’s teachers and lastly, asking your child about their day. No matter the type of involvement, it is important to be consistent to make an impact in your child’s educational life.
During this week we open our doors to all parents who wish to come and observe their student’s classes. Although parents are welcome to visit our school any day of the school year, we ask that you use the following schedule for class visitation:
• Monday, November 12: Parents of 8th grade students
• Tuesday, November 13: Parents of 7th grade students
• Wednesday, November 14: Parents of 6th grade students
• Thursday, November 15: Parents of any grade
We appreciate your interest and involvement in your student’s education and look forward to seeing you during American Education Week.
Our November PTA meeting is this Thursday, November 8 at 7:00pm. We will be discussing teacher needs for donations, Internatioal Night, the STEAM Festival, and many other items. Join us!
